Our Bar
Our bar is always a friendly place where everyone enjoys a great chat with their mates. You have the option to sit inside in the games room, where there is a jukebox and pool table, or on our fabulous deck fitted with blinds and heating and cooling systems, making it a perfect outdoor area all year round. A private air-conditioned and heated VIP lounge is available for guests to enjoy.
There is a Sports Bar, where you can place a bet using our TAB or just catch up and watch a the races or a game with your mates. Watch sports all year round from cricket and tennis in summer to the AFL, NRL, and Union games, with some basketball, soccer and netball thrown in for good measure. Not to mention international leagues and tournaments, we also follow the NFL, the NHL, the NBA and the English Premier League. What we're trying to say is that there's a whole lot of excellent sport to be watched, and if you don't have cable, or prefer to watch with your mates, the Criterion is the place to be in Gundagai.
We believe in responsible drinking and adhere to the Responsible Service of Alcohol Act.
The drive through Bottlemart
Located at the rear of the Criterion Hotel is our Bottlemart drive through. You can pull up and select your desired drink on your way home or out to your mates.
We can also swap or refill gas bottles from small 4kg to large 45kg, including forklift gas. Home delivery can be arranged.
The bottleshop is open 7 days a week, 10am to 8:30pm Monday to Saturday and 10:30am to 6:30pm on Sundays.
